Nicki Minaj diets 3 days before performances

Nicki Minaj goes on a diet three days before a show.

The 'Anaconda' hitmaker, who is known for curvaceous figure and pert derrière, tries to stick to a strict eating plan a few days before she does a performance in the hope of losing a few pounds in time for the event.

Speaking to UsMagazine, she said: "I'm always hungry and I wish I could eat whenever I wanted. That's really the truth. Every time I'm about to do something, I try to diet for like three days before it."

The 31-year-old singer, who has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Safaree Samuels for 10 years, recently admitted she likes the idea of men looking at sexy pictures of her while they "pleasure" themselves.

She said: "I never really think about dudes doing that I guess, but I mean hey, if I can cause somebody some pleasure and not even be there then why not."

Meanwhile, the stunning star was left trying to retain her modesty at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night (08.24.14) after she failed to complete her costume change and was forced to hold her little black dress together with her hands whilst she sang 'Bang Bang' alongside Ariana Grande and Jessie J.
