Nicky Hilton "always" had to earn her money.

The hotel heiress - who is the younger sister of Paris Hilton - dislikes "spoilt" people and has never relied on handouts from her family to get .

The former model and designer said: "It was never an option to sit on my ass. I've always had to earn my own money. So many of the people I grew up with are utterly spoilt - it's such a turn-off."

The 30-year-old beauty has been dating banking heir James Rothschild since 2012 and she loves spending time at his British country retreat.

She said: "I love the UK, especially the country. James has a house in Bury St. Edmonds and we go there all the time, it's just beautiful.

"He has an organic garden and we go on amazing walks. It's a perfect retreat."

Nicky also appreciates the sense of style of women in the UK.

She said: "The UK is more fashion-conscious than the US. I love how British girls dress. They take more risks."

And the style guru also admitted she doesn't care what people think of her.

She told Britain's Grazia magazine: "When I was younger, I was shocked by what was printed about me. But now I only care about what the people who know me think."
