Oscars nominees get face lifts and condoms in goodie bags

This year's Oscar nominee gift bag includes condoms and a $5,000 face lift.

Nominees at the Academy Awards on Sunday (24.02.13) will be treated to a random variety of lavish treats ranging from luxury maple syrup by Rouge Maple Gourmet Products and sex protection, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Amidst the luxury items, which include a gift certificate for a $5,000 face lift and a lavish all expenses paid trip to Australia, lucky recipients will also be given a $4 bottle of window cleaning product Windex, and a $20 fuzz and lint remover for clothing.

Other party favors include hair ties that double as bracelets, which are worth $80, a portion control dinnerware set, valued at $59, and a copy of self-help book 'Take 2: Your Guide to Happy Endings and New Beginnings'.

The gift bag is estimated to be worth $45,000 and will be given to all of the stars who are nominated for awards at the Hollywood bash, including Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis, Jessica Chastain and Steven Spielberg.

The goodies are selected by PR firm Distinctive Assets, rather than the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, which stages the Oscars.

This year's Academy Awards take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday.
