Tiny Fey caught off guard by Taylor Swift

Tina Fey is surprised Taylor Swift can't take a "lighthearted joke".

The 42-year-old comedian - who upset the country singer, renowned for dating a string of Hollywood stars, by warning her to "stay away from Michael J. Fox's son" and advised her to take "some me time" while presenting the Golden Globes with her pal Amy Poehler in January - admitted she is very shocked that the 23-year-old star was so hurt by the jokes.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight' at the premiere of her new movie 'Admission' on Tuesday night (03.05.13): "If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a light-hearted joke."

When introducing director Kathryn's latest film, 'Zero Dark Thirty' - about a CIA agent tracking terrorist Osama Bin Laden - Amy joked she understood torture because "she spent three years married to James Cameron."

Kathryn was married to 'Terminator' and 'Avatar' director James - who is notoriously difficult to work with - from 1989 to 1991.

The '30 Rock' star's comments came just hours after her co-host Amy apologized for upsetting Taylor.

The 'Parks and Recreation' actress said: "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."

In a recent interview, Taylor admitted she wasn't impressed with the jokes at her expense.

She said: "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"
