Bill Murray gives up ghost, Aykroyd ready to bust
BILL Murray has ruled himself out of Ghostbusters 3, but Dan Aykroyd still hasn't given up on the long-awaited project.
Aykroyd, the sparkplug of the 1984 original, has signed up writer Etan Cohen Etan Cohen (a co-writer on Men in Black III) to produce a script.
The Telegraph quotes Aykroyd saying Murray ''won't be involved ... it's sad but we're passing it on to a new generation My preference would be to have him involved but ... we have to move on. It's time to make the third one.''
Production should start next year, Aykroyd says.
