Avicii show cancelled

It looks like Avicii won’t be an arena star after all.

The Swedish electronic music producer’s show scheduled for Sept. 6 at the MTS Centre has been axed by the promoter. No reason was immediately provided for the cancellation but the entire tour has been plagued by poor ticket sales and date changes. In some cities Avicii’s Le7els show is being moved to smaller venues, but so far not in Winnipeg.

People who bought tickets for the MTS Centre show can return them to point of purchase for a refund.
