A pair of Winnipeg radio stations have a new owner.

The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, based out of Kamloops, B.C., has purchased classic pop station FAB 94.3 FM from Bell Media and country station QX 104 FM from Astral.

The Pattison group has also purchased KooL FM 101.5 FM, an adult contemporary station in Calgary, from Bell.

"We’re just delighted that we are being given this opportunity to expand our radio reach in western Canada, and the addition of these three exciting stations will definitely strengthen our group and our resources in B.C., Alberta and now in Manitoba," said Rod Schween, president of Pattison.
