Winnipeggers will get to see the Blind Boys of Alabama this summer.

The gospel group will play the Pantages Playhouse Theatre in support of its latest album, Take the High Road, on June 7. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday for $45.50 at Ticketmaster.

The first version of the Grammy-winning group was formed at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind in 1939.
