Born Ruffians to return in March

CANADIAN indie rockers Born Ruffians will be road-testing songs from their upcoming album Birthmarks when their latest tour brings them to the Park Theatre on Wednesday, Mar. 27. The record’s release date is April 16.

The Ontario-based band is appearing as part of Jazz Winnipeg’s Nu Sounds concert series. Also scheduled to perform at the March 27 show is Newmarket, Ont. band The Elwins.

Tickets for the show are $15 in advance/$20 at the door, on sale at Jazz Winnipeg (www.jazzwinnipeg.com) and the Park Theatre.
