A triple-threat of Canadian country music artists are coming to Manitoba for three shows in October and November as part of the Your Town Throwdown tour.
Chad Brownlee, Deric Ruttan and Jason Blaine, all of whom are nominees for the 2013 Canadian Country Music Awards, are the Your Town Throwdown acts, which play the McPhillips Station Casino on Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3.
They are also playing The 40/Trails West Inn in Brandon on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Kelowna, B.C.’s Brownlee is up for CCMA’s top male artist and received a 2013 Juno nomination for top country album for Love Me or Leave Me.
Ruttan, from Bracebridge, Ont., is up for three CCMAs, including single of the year (Main Street 1979), songwriter of the year and video director of the year.
Blaine, who hails from Pembroke, Ont, hit it big in 2012 with the single, Cool, which was the most played Canadian country song of 2012 and earned him a 2013 CCMA nod for songwriter of the year.
Tickets, which range from $44.50 to $55, go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
