For music fans who need a fond reminder of the 1990s scene, the West End Cultural Centre is bringing in Evan Dando, a founding member of the Lemonheads, and Sara Johnston of Bran Van 3000 on May 18.

During his cross-Canada tour, expect Dando to perform many of the Lemonheads’ hits, and a release says don’t be surprised if he collaborates with Johnston, a multi-instrumentalist who has appeared on projects by Mishka, Chris Velan and the Flight of the Conchords.

Tickets, which sell for $20 in advance, are available at the WECC, Ticketmaster, Music Trader and the Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store. At the door, ticket prices rise to $25.
