Leonard Cohen returning to Winnipeg March 11
Canadian singer/poet Leonard Cohen will return to the MTS Centre March 11 on the second North American leg of his Old Ideas world tour.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. January 18 at www.leonardcohen.com, although ticket prices have yet to be announced.
His highly successful tour celebrates Cohen’s 12th studio album, Old Ideas, the highest-charting release of his long career. Cohen has been garnering his best concert reviews in recent years. He was last in Winnipeg in May 2009, when he received rapturous response to his performance. This new leg of his tour will open March 2 in Oakland and close in St. John’s, N.L. April 20.
