Megadeth brings its Gigantour to town July 22

  • Print

Call it Death in the Afternoon.

Heavy metal band Megadeth is descending on the MTS Centre on Monday, July 22, at 4:30 p.m. on their Gigantour 2013, alongside metal brethren Death Division, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah and Newsted.

The package festival was founded in 2005 by Megadeth’s founder, Dave Mustaine.

"This year’s power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet," Mustaine said in a press release. "And we’ve had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years."

Past tours have included bands such as Volbeat, Motorhead and Anthrax.

Tickets are $29, $39, $69 and $75 plus service charges and go on sale Thursday, May 16, at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets.
