The Belle Game headed to Winnipeg in November

  • Print

Over the last two years, The Belle Game built a steady buzz as the opening act for a ton of high-profile indie rock acts, including Gotye, Karkwa, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Born Ruffians and Bahamas.

These days, however, The Belle Game is the main attraction thanks to its shimmering full-length debut, Ritual Tradition Habit. The Vancouver orchestral pop outfit is on a North American headlining tour in support of the new album that stops by Union Sound Hall on Nov. 3.

Showtime is at 10 p.m. Tickets are $12 at NorthernTickets.com or at the door.

Since its release in April, Ritual Tradition Habit has been racking up raves from critics hailing its layered, lush soundscapes and frontwoman Andrea Lo’s ethereal vocals. Exclaim! called the band one of "Canada’s most promising acts." Expect to see this one on a few year-end lists.
