Beastie Boys sales surge after Adam Yauch's death

LOS ANGELES -- Sales of Beastie Boys albums have surged 1,235 per cent since Adam Yauch's death, according to Billboard. They sold 55,000 copies in the week ending on Sunday, which was only two days since Yauch died.

Licensed To Ill was the biggest seller. It hits No. 18 on the Billboard album chart with 19,000 copies sold, a jump of 802 per cent. Digitally, the Beasties sold 151,000 downloads in the past week, compared to 14,000 the week before. The biggest seller was Brass Monkey, which saw an 807 per cent sales bump.
