A TRIPLE-THREAT of Canadian country music artists is coming to Manitoba for three shows in October and November as part of the Your Town Throwdown tour.
Chad Brownlee, Deric Ruttan and Jason Blaine, all of whom are nominees for the 2013 Canadian Country Music Awards, will play the McPhillips Station Casino on Nov. 2 and 3.
The tour will also stop at the Trails West Inn in Brandon on Oct. 29.
Kelowna, B.C.'s Brownlee is up for CCMA's top male artist and received a 2013 Juno nomination for top country album for Love Me or Leave Me.
Ruttan, from Bracebridge, Ont., is up for three CCMAs, including single of the year (Main Street 1979), songwriter of the year and video director of the year.
Blaine, who hails from Pembroke, Ont., hit it big in 2012 with the single, Cool, which was the most played Canadian country song of 2012 and earned him a 2013 CCMA nod for songwriter of the year.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday for $44.50 to $55 at Ticketmaster.

Canadian rock supergroup Crash Karma will embark on a 21-city Canadian tour that includes an Oct. 15 stop in Winnipeg at The Oak.
The band, comprised of lead vocalist Edwin (formerly of I Mother Earth), guitarist Mike Turner (Our Lady Peace), drummer Jeff Burrows (The Tea Party) and bassist Amir Epstein (Zygote), is touring in support of its second album, Rock Musique Deluxe. One Bad Son will open the show.
