for people with Type 1 diabetes

GEORGE Canyon will perform a free show for people living with Type 1 diabetes next month.

The country star will play the Park Theatre on May 16 as part of a five-city Diabetes Heroes tour. Admission to individuals and families living with Type 1 diabetes is free, with a maximum of five tickets per family. To reserve seats people must register online at animas.ca/george2012.

Canyon, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 14, will be joined at the Park Theatre show by Jordan DePape, a Winnipegger who plays for the WHL's Kamloops Blazers.
