Gomez brings world tour to Winnipeg in August

POP sensation Selena Gomez will embark on a 56-city world tour that will include a stop at the MTS Centre Aug. 19, it was announced Tuesday.

Tickets will go on sale starting May 3 at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.ca.

On Sunday night, the 20-year-old Texan premiered her new single Come & Get It -- from her new album expected this summer -- on the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Her media blitz continued Tuesday with an appearance on Ellen and a performance on Dancing With the Stars.

Gomez also adorns the April cover of Harper's Bazaar.

Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend has sold one million digital singles in Canada and over 10 million singles south of the border.
