Goo Goo Dolls, R5 playing 'Peg next year

American rock stalwarts Goo Goo Dolls will draw you in with tunes from their latest, Magnetic, when the band plays the Pantages Playhouse on Feb. 26.

Tickets are $39-$65 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Magnetic is John Rzeznik and co.'s 10th full-length album, the followup to 2010's Something for the Rest of Us.

Los Angeles pop-rock act R5 also announced a 'Peg show in the new year.

The band will play the Burton Cummings Theatre on April 12 as part of the Canadian leg of a world tour in support of its debut album, Louder. Tickets are $29.50-$49.50 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
