Have you heard the News about Club Regent?

  • Print

An official opening of the 1,400-seat Event Centre at Club Regent Casino has yet to be scheduled, but artists have already been lined up for concerts in the spring.

Huey Lewis and the News, whose hits such as If This Is It, Hip To Be Square and The Power of Love found spots in the Billboard Top 10 during the 1980s, will perform May 19 and 20 at the casino venue.

On May 30, Irish crooner Daniel O'Donnell performs with Mary Duff. Tickets for the three shows range from $65 to $85 and are available through Ticketmaster. More shows are also in the works; for information, go to www.clubregent.com.
