Heart, the 2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, have teamed up once again with drummer Jason Bonham and will appear in concert together on June 22 at the MTS Centre.
The show promises to be a retrospective of Heart's greatest hits, songs such as Crazy on You, Barracuda and These Dreams, but also a celebration of Led Zeppelin's music. Bonham's father, John, was the drummer with the '70s hard-rock kingpins.
Heart, the brainchild of Ann and Nancy Wilson, and Bonham teamed up in December 2012 for an appearance at the Kennedy Center Honors, when the ceremony, which appeared on national TV in Canada and the U.S., paid tribute to Led Zeppelin. Their performance of Led Zep's anthem Stairway to Heaven led to a resurgence of interest in Heart and Bonham's music.
"What a great night it was for us at the Kennedy Center, and now to be able to do it again on the road with Ann and Nancy is such an honour for me," Bonham says in a release.
Tickets, which sell for $45 to $85 plus fees, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
