WITH business now taken care of, an iconic Winnipeg band is heading into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Bachman-Turner Overdrive is the 2014 inductee into the national music hall, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday morning. The band will be honoured during the 43rd Annual Juno Awards show at the MTS Centre March 30. BTO enjoyed tremendous commercial success between 1973-79, with long-serving members Randy and Robbie Bachman, Fred Turner and Blair Thornton. Among their many hits are songs like Let It Ride, Takin' Care of Business and You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet.
