Jazz bassist Disterheft plays Park on Oct. 30

BASSIST Brandi Disterheft will show Winnipeg jazz fans some Gratitude on Oct. 30 when she plays the Park Theatre as part of Jazz Winnipeg's fall concert lineup.

The Canadian musician, now based in New York, this week released her third CD, Gratitude, on which she teams up with some of jazz's best players. Her first album, Debut, won a 2008 Juno Award.

Tickets, $18 in advance, $22 at the door, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and are available at jazzwinnipeg.com, at 989-4656, the Jazz Winnipeg office (007-100 Arthur St.) and the Park Theatre.
