Local musicians on AIDS fundraiser lineup

  • Print

A World AIDS Day fundraiser at the West End Cultural Centre on Dec. 1 will have a definite alt-country sound.

Winnipeg's Nathan Music Co., and Keith Macpherson, a member of the duo Keith and Renee and a Canadian Idol alumnus, will co-headline the benefit. Also on the bill are Jordan St. Cyr, a national finalist earlier this year in the Great Canadian Song Search, and Winnipeg singer-songwriter Alicia Feakes.

The concert will raise funds for the House of Hesed, a non-profit transition home that provides care and support for those living with HIV/AIDS in Manitoba.

Tickets for $15 are available at the West End Cultural Centre and Quest Musique (1308 Portage Ave.).
