Ludacris, K'Naan ending U of M orientation week
THE University of Manitoba Students' Union is ending orientation week by getting Ludacris.
Atlanta rapper/actor Ludacris is scheduled to end Orientation Week 2012 with a performance at the Max Bell Field House on Sept. 14. Somali-born/Toronto-based artist K'Naan will open the evening.
Tickets for the show are on sale now at the Answers booth at University Centre at the U of M. Tickets for students are $25 with valid I.D., while tickets are $40 for the general public.
Ludacris was last booked to play the city in November 2011, but the show at the MTS Centre with Rick Ross was cancelled due to poor ticket sales. He attracted 2,500 fans when he performed at the Winnipeg Arena in 2003.
