Mayes gathers songwriters for annual extravaganza

Romi Mayes, Winnipeg's most badass blues babe, is holding her annual songwriters extravaganza at the Park Theatre on Feb. 2. Tickets are $20 at the door.

Now in its third year, the popular show brings together 20 of the city's best songsmiths from across genres for an intimate night of story and song. This year's lineup includes Jamie Buckboro, Kevin Hogg (The Revival), Robert Wrigley (Stonypoint), Sol James, Kevin Roy, Amber Quesnel (Sweet Alibi), Slow Leaves, James Culleton, Micah Erenberg, Pat Alexandre (F-Holes), Bobby Desjarlais, Chris Carmichael, TJ Blair (Magnificent 7's), Greg Arcade, JD Ormond (Ultra Mega), Little Miss Higgins, Joanne Rodriguez (Angry Dragons), Vince Andrushko, The Reverend Rambler and Kieran West.
