It's no longer the sound of silence for Art Garfunkel. After taking some time off to recover from a vocal ailment, the revered singer has returned to the stage and will perform at the Burton Cummings Theatre on Sept. 27.
Tickets range in price from $69.50 to $90 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
On this tour, Garfunkel is performing his solo hits as well as those he sang as half of Simon and Garfunkel with guitarist Tab Laven. His live set also includes tunes from his favourite songwriters: Jimmy Webb, Randy Newman and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
His more recent solo album, Some Enchanted Evening -- a collection of Great American Songbook standards -- came out in 2007.
