It's on to the next quarter-century for the Skydiggers.
The Toronto group, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year with a tour that culminated with a bash at the Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto last October, will make a two-night stand at the West End Cultural Centre May 2 and 3.
The Slow Burnin' Fire Tour 2014 features the return of Skydiggers' co-founder Peter Cash for the first time in 18 years. A reunion at the Toronto show has rekindled the band's interest in touring again.
"It was a crazy, inspiring night... it all felt really natural," Cash is quoted as saying in a press release.
Tickets, which go for $33.50, go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and through the West End Cultural Centre.
