Storytelling Bachman at Pantages on April 3

RANDY Bachman will be singing songs that tell a story at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre April 3.

The former guitarist of The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive will return to his hometown on his Vinyl Tap Tour and take fans on a retrospective of his eventful career. A visual backdrop illustrating Bachman's rock 'n' roll journey will accompany each song, giving viewers a historical glimpse into one of Canada's greatest musical ambassadors.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and are $29.50, $39.50 and $65.50 at all Ticketmaster outlets and at Rogers Wireless Box Office, www.rogers.com/WBO, and Live Nation, www.livenation.com

Also coming to Winnipeg next year is American country singer Eric Church, booked into the MTS Centre Feb. 21. His Blood, Sweat & Beers tour is his first to Canada and will also feature opening act Colt Ford.

Tickets also go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $35-$65 at Ticketmaster outlets, Rogers Wireless Box Office, and Live Nation.
