  • Print

POPULAR Australian children's act the Wiggles is bringing its latest tour, Wiggly Circus Live!, to Winnipeg this fall.

Tickets for two shows at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the MTS Centre go on sale Aug. 30 at 10 a.m., promoters have announced.

Ticket prices begin at $10 (plus surcharges), but promoters are introducing a $75 VIP ticket, like those offered for rock concerts. VIP ticket holders will get the best seats in the house, a gift, a colouring activity sheet and a chance to dance along with the Wiggles themselves.

The children's musical quartet, formed in Sydney in 1991, bill themselves as the world's No. 1 preschool entertainers, having performed more than 350 shows to more than 1.5 million fans since 2005 in the United States alone.

The Wiggles TV series is on the Treehouse cable channel in Canada.
