Three nights at Pyramid for Atlanta music mash-up

  • Print

ATLANTA'S Grammy-nominated The Mad Violinist and The Symphony Crack Orchestra has confirmed it is playing a three-night stand at the Pyramid Cabaret from Jan. 16 to 18, in support of its sophomore album, Fiend. Ticket information to be announced in the coming weeks.

Violinist Ashanti Floyd and guitarist Matt Barrett formed the unique hip hop/jazz/R&B collective in 2009 to explore a different, innovative style of music. The Orchestra's debut album, The Addiction, was released in 2011.

In the last two years, Floyd and Barrett have also co-produced and performed on albums that have earned a combined eight Grammy Award nominations. Both can be heard on Lupe Fiasco's The Show Goes On, Nicki Minaj's I'm the Best, and Fantasia Barinno's Back To Me.
