Friday, Park Theatre. The Renée in the folk-pop/country duo Keith and Renée releases her debut solo album, I Fall for You. Admission is $15.

 

LUDACRIS

Friday, Max Bell Field House. Orientation Week at the University of Manitoba concludes with a show by Atlanta rapper Ludacris and Somalia-born Torontonian K'Naan sharing a bill. Tickets are $25 for students and $40 for the public at the Answers booth in University Centre and the door.

 

THE BILLS

Saturday, West End Cultural Centre. It's been eight years since left coast folkies the Bills have released an album, so they should have a lot of pent-up energy when they visit town to unveil their new album, Yes Please. Tickets are $20.50 at Ticketmaster.

 

BLUES CRUISE FOR HARVEST

Sunday, River Rouge. Three of the city's best blues acts -- Big Dave McLean, the Perpetrators and Brent Parkin -- rock out on the river during the eighth annual Blues Cruise for Harvest, with all proceeds going to local food bank Winnipeg Harvest. Cruise time is from 2 to 6 p.m. The boat departs from the Alexander Docks. Tickets are $25 at the Windsor Hotel, Royal George Hotel and the River Rouge.
