Yardbirds looking For Your Love

THE Yardbirds are flying back to Winnipeg.

The current version of the British blues band -- featuring original rhythm guitarist Chris Dreja and drummer Jim McCarty -- will play McPhillips Station Casino on April 18. Tickets go on sale Feb. 2 for $36.25 and $44.25 at Ticketmaster.

The group's biggest hits include For Your Love, Heart Full of Soul and Shapes of Things. The band is also famous as the group where guitarists Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page all got their starts.

The casino is also the place to see Inti-Illimani, a Chilean folk ensemble that was founded in 1967. The current lineup of the group will be at McPhillips Station on April 26. Tickets go on sale Feb. 10 at Ticketmaster for $36.25 and $49.50 at Ticketmaster.
