Don Amero Concert

Don Amero ends his 'Home Away From Home' tour with a performance in his own hometown, with special guest James Struthers. Don Amero is a singer/songwriter whose sound and style has been compared to John Mayer and Jack Johnson. He has received much acclaim for his music, talent and ambition, and is considered one of the hardest working ‘indie’ musicians in showbiz today. Which is no surprise, since hard work is second nature to him. Don remembers well the day that changed his life. On September 15, 2007, he walked off his job as a hardwood flooring installer and set out to pursue music fulltime. And what a good day that turned out to be. Since then, he has released three albums that generated two national awards (Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Folk Music Awards, and Male Artist of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards) and nine nominations.
