Behind Sapphire & Jasper Sloan Yip @ Aqua Books

Since then, the group has toured the country twice, played numerous festivals and showcases (including CMW, BreakOut West and the Southeast Alaskan State Fair), received local and national airplay and participated in the 2010 Peak Performance Project - being chosen as one of BC's top 20 artists. The group has an incredibly energetic live show that has lead-singer Grant Cassell singing into Vases, Trumpet Bells and an old Cowboy Spittoon. The group has also been selected for the 2011 Peak Performance Project top 20. Is releasing an acoustic summer EP, entitled Coconut Highways, on June 25th. Jasper Sloan Yip http://www.myspace.com/jaspersloanyip http://www.jaspersloanyip.com/ Jasper released his debut record in 2010, receiving regular airplay on CBC Radio. His 2nd single spent 10 weeks on the CBC Radio 3 top 30, peaking at number 4. He's played live on CBC Radio 1 and recorded a podcast for CBC Radio 3. Jasper has played numerous showcases including CMW, BreakOut West (WCMA) and the Vancouver Fringe Fest. Jasper was also selected for the 2011 Peak Performance Project top 20.
