MATINÉE - 'Resonating with the complexity and fury of love' (Uptown Magazine) 97 Positions of the Heart is the WCD production based on the Fringe hit BASH ON REGARDLESS. This 'extraordinary, heart-stopping fusion of movement and text'(Winnipeg Free Press) exposes the life of the Canadian author of the groundbreaking 1945 poetic novel By Grand Central Station I Sat Down And Wept. Staring down the punishing expectations for women in the middle of the last century Elizabeth Smart side-stepped convention to demand a place in the adventure. This bohemian unwed mother of four devoured life unbridled and without apology. Created by WCD Artistic Director Brent Lott and performed by company dancers. Sponsored by Great-West Life and further supported by the Winnipeg's Arts Council New Creations Fund.
