In Thanksgiving and Remembrance

The Winnipeg Singers, Winnipeg's premiere choral ensemble, open their 39th season with a collection of works dedicated to the theme of thanksgiving and remembrance. Included are works by Mendelssohn, Whitacre, Canadian composers Leonard Enns, Eleanor Daley and Healey Willan. At this concert The Winnipeg Singers will premiere the completed "Missa Brevis" by Winnipeg composer Andrew Balfour. They also include a work by Winnipeg Singers chorister Michael McKay.
