CancerCare Manitoba Inaugural Mini Film Festival

Patient and Family Support Services at CancerCare Manitoba will be hosting an Inaugural Mini Film Festival - Exploring Breast Cancer Issues for Younger Women on Saturday, November 26th from 11:30 - 4:30 p.m. This educational event features three short films to help increase awareness of the issues facing younger women with breast cancer, as well as young women at high risk for breast cancer. A facilitated panel discussion with those who have experienced these issues first hand will follow each film. This event is open to the general public as well as patients, families, friends, health professionals and medical students. Admission is free and we are offering free popcorn to those in attendance. Pre-registration is required by calling 787-4119. Please note that the theatre will be offering food and beverages throughout the afternoon for purchase.
