Magnificat!

The Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir under conductor Yuri Klaz presents Magnificat! on Sunday December 11 at 3:00 pm at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street. Organist Linda Fearn and guest vocalists Marni Enns and Kirsten Schellenberg join the Phil along with a string quartet led by Minna Rose Chung. Four uplifting Magnificats by Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Pärt and Stanford will be performed in the first half of the concert and the second half will feature well-known Christmas music to warm the heart and soul. Tickets for adults are $24, seniors (65+) are $20, students are $8, and are available by calling 896-7445 or at McNally Robinson Booksellers.
