Film: La Sacrée

(English to follow) Salle Antoine-Gaborieau 10 $ l'entrée Le mensonge, François Labas connaît. Réalisé par Dominic Desjardins Avec Marc Marans, Louison Danis, Geneviève Bilodeau, Damien Robitaille Genre : Comédie Origine : Ontario -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Antoine-Gaborieau Hall 10 $ French with English subtitles From Dominic Desjardins, the director of last , Everybody’s Couch (le divan du monde), comes this charming new comedy about a slick conman who’s about to marry the very wealthy ‘cosmetics queen’ of Quebec (despite her father’s rather ‘well-founded’ misgivings). But first, he must return to his barely-breathing hometown in Ontario to settle the affairs of his late uncle, and collect his ‘inheritance’…a decrepit, dilapidated barn. With the town’s economy in ruins, and the villagers believing François is the savior they’ve been waiting for, will this self-described ‘Idea Consultant’ finally turn a new leaf and think of anyone other himself for a change? One thing’s for sure: he’ll need the help of La Sacrée, a long-lost, locally-brewed beer that – legend has it – contains ‘special powers’. Loaded with warmth and humour, La Sacrée is as tasty as a heaping plate of poutine! Directed by: Dominic Desjardins With: Marc Marans, Louison Danis, Geneviève Bilodeau, Damien Robitaille Genre : Comédie Origin : Ontario
