Authors JR Léveillé and Lise Gaboury-Diallo will be giving a joint reading as part of In Dialogue: the Manitoba Writers' Guild reading series on January 16th. This marks the first French-language reading of the series, and features two of Manitoba's most celebrated authors. JR Léveillé is the author of 30 books and the recipient of numerous awards, including the Manitoba Lifetime Writing and Publishing Award in 2007, and was inducted to Franco-Manitoba's Cultural Hall of Fame in 1999. Lise Gaboury-Diallo has written 6 collections of poetry, and one short story collections, Lointaines, which won the Prix litteraire Rue-Deschambault at the 2011 Manitoba Book Awards. She also won a CBC literary award in 2004. Both authors are integral members of the Franco-Manitoba literary community as well as the chorus of Canadian literary voices.
