Intentional Career Conversations from the Trenches of an Artist’s Life

An intentional conversation is a conscious decision to talk about the things we really need to talk about, but often avoid. This conversation in particular will jump into the tension that exists for artists who are caught between a culture that is changing faster than ever before, and the established arts & culture systems/organizations being left behind. The ability of career artists to adapt to rapidly changing markets, and implement innovative ideas and creative solutions has never been more important. This conversation will explore the world of opportunities and obstacles that exist for career artists and the role of risk taking in the pursuit of career excellence. Instructor: Rik Lief
