HI-Winnipeg Speaker Series: Ryan Wakshinski & Maggie Bonnetta

We are hosting the next event in our Speaker Series at the Lo Bistro on Wednesday May 16th at 7pm. The Lo Bistro is located within the hostel at 330 Kennedy St at Ellice Ave. The evening will have two speakers, Ryan Wakshinski and Maggie Bonnetta. "On the Way" Ryan Wakshinski and his wife walked the Camino de Santiago in 2002, a 750km trek from St. Jean Pied de Port in Southwest France to Santiago, Spain. Experience snapshots of this 35 day pilgrimage through shared stories, journal entries and photographs from the spirited/spiritual journey. "Honeymoon in Iceland!" Who needs golden beaches in the sun when you can sit ocean-side in hot pots, experience the magnifi-cent geysers and pitch a tent amongst the fjords. Last August, Maggie and Steve went on a 10 day camping trip to Iceland for their honeymoon. Come listen and learn about Iceland (with a romantic twist!).
