Grand Marais Family Festival

Friday activities indoors include the Grand Opening of the Festival, with local dignitaries,The Ivan Spence Memorial Traditional Dancers, Glen Hewgill, award-winning fiddler plus local students and adult entertainers…Outdoors will be a Bonfire,Toboggan run and ice rink which will be open for the entire event. Saturday free activities open, 9:30 a.m. with crafts, glitter tattoos & face painting, fishpond, Cross countrySki trail, Family curling bonspiel, Crib tournament and Horse-drawn sleigh rides throughout the afternoon. Special feature at Noon is Ronald McDonald®Magic Show. Saturday Evening Adult Event: 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $15. Stand up Comedy followed by Rocket Fire Live Band, playing music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s for dancing. Sunday activities include: a pancake breakfast, 9 a.m., Interdenominational church service with the “Bells of Praise”, noon
