Spur Festival - Moving Past Walls #1: Manitoba Hydro Place

Architecture critic Christopher Hume once called it the only “genuinely important” building in Canada. Tour the astonishing Manitoba Hydro Place with the project’s lead design architect, Bruce Kuwabara (Founding Partner at KPMB), and Manitoba Hydro’s volunteer corporate art curator, Leona Herzog (also its Manager of Business Communications), to see how many ways it achieves and inspires an expansive definition of sustainability in an urban centre. Each tour is equal parts art and architecture.
