Pro-Choice or Pro-Life: Reproductive Rights in Jewish Thought and Jewish Law Join Rabbi Ellis as he looks at classic and contemporary sources to explore the Jewish approach to abortion, gender selection, and birth control. Does Jewish tradition permit or forbid abortion? Whose choice is it? What factors are relevant? Under what, if any circumstances, may abortion be sanctioned?
