Doug Edmond Band - 2013 TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival

Singer, songwriter and pianist Doug Edmond is an independent roots/adult alternative artist. This year he will performing with his bandmates Mitch Dorge of Crash Test Dummies fame (drums), Alasdair Dunlop (upright bass), Bill Spornitz (sax) and Rubin Kantorovich (dobro, guitar). Following the tribute to Tom Waits at the 2012 festival, Doug went into the recording studio with a wealth of material reflecting his expanding divergent styles with lyrics that continue to draw in his audience. Doug will perform many of the heartfelt ballads and lively jazz-based tunes from this new album at the festival, with the official release scheduled for the fall, 2013.
