The Off-Center Chalice: Reverend Millie Rochester

There are many depictions of symbol of Unitarian Universalism. One that is often shared features the chalice within a circle, set slightly off-center, evoking the concept that there is room for other symbols, as well – which raises a question: If we encourage diverse theological approaches to religion, is there any “center” at all, or are we comprised of just a loose assortment of philosophies?
