The Handmaid's Tale

Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet opens its 74th season with a bold adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the critically acclaimed novel by Canadian literary giant Margaret Atwood. Governor General Award-winning author, Margaret Atwood, will be joining André Lewis at the world premiere on October 16 at 6:45pm for a 20-minute on-stage pre-show chat. The chat will be screened for audiences who attend shows from October 17-20.

Osprey a large narrow winged hawk which can have a wingspan of over 54 inches are making a incredible recovery since pesticide use of the 1950's and  1960's- For the last two decades these fish hawks have been reappearing in the Lake Winnipeg area- Aug 03, 2005
