Heat warning in effect

Bridging the Gap

A feature of the London underground is a disembodied voice heard as passengers disembark, warning them to "mind the gap" – that is, to use caution while crossing between the train door and the station platform. The phrase became a slogan in response to the gap in many congregations’ demographics between youth and adults. We ponder some of the many “gaps,” including that one which we are all called to fill. The Choir will sing.
